Arrivals and departures

Arriving at the competition.

Those who want to give it a try or drive a car may go straight to Nowy Sącz. However, the ultimate goal of almost all participants' journeys should be Krakow.

Arriving to Kraków

The organizers provide bus service operating between the competition site and Kraków. The buses will pick you up upon your arrival and carry you to Nowy Sącz. We recommend that you end up your journey in one of the following places:
  • Kraków Balice Airport
  • Kraków Główny (Main) Train Station (or the Bus Station, located next to it)
The buses will be awaiting participants in those places on August, 18th only. Consult the Early arrivals section below if you plan to appear in Poland prior to that date.

Arriving with a change in Warsaw

Teams or persons who plan to end up their flight in Warsaw (Warsaw Okęcie Airport) must get to Kraków on their own. The most convenient choice is to take an Express or InterCity train from Warszawa Centralna (Warsaw Central) railway station to Kraków. They depart at the following hours: 6:05, 7:05, 8:05, 9:05, 10:05, 12:05, 14:05, 15:05, 16:05, 17:05, 18:05, 20:05 The journey takes 2h45m. For the most up-to-date timetable consult The Polish Railways Timetable When at the Warsaw airport, take bus number 175 to get to the Warsaw Central railway station or the city centre. In the registration form please issue when we should be expecting you in Kraków.

Early arrivals

There is no accommodation provided for teams arriving before August, 18th. Here is a good site to start looking for information on hotels in Kraków. We will, however, be glad to pick you up on August, 18th from a hotel of your choice (in Kraków). Please let us know the details in the registration form.

Departures

Similar rules apply to departures. Departures are scheduled on 24th and 25th August. Participants can choose to be delivered to Kraków's airport or railway station (or elsewhere in Kraków if you wish).
